Pre-Release events for Magic: the Gathering The Brothers’ War will be running Friday and Saturday at HobbyTown Lincoln’s South store!
In-Store Pre-Release events now include 2-Headed Giant and Jumpstart!
- Friday, November 11th: 6pm (4-round Sealed event)
- Saturday, November 12th: 11am (Sealed 2-Headed Giant)
- Saturday, November 12th: 1pm (Jumpstart event, 2 rounds)
- Saturday, November 12th: 3pm (4-round Sealed event)
Sealed event entry is $35 per player, Jumpstart event entry is $15. In-store registration starts 30 minutes before each event, and you can speed up your check-in with the Magic Companion App using the following codes:
- Friday, September 2nd (6pm, Sealed): 6255WGR

Each player in a Sealed event will receive a Pre-Release Kit containing 6 booster packs and a premium promo card to build a 40+ card deck; basic lands will be provided by the store.
-The 6pm Friday and 3pm Saturday events will be capped at 4 Swiss rounds, with players earning a prize pack for each round they win!
-The 11am Saturday 2-headed Giant event will cap at 4 Swiss rounds, and teams get 2 prize packs for each round they win!
For the Jumpstart PreRelease, each player will get 2 Jumpstart booster packs to mash together to form their deck, followed by 2 Best-of-3 Swiss rounds; players get a prize pack for each round they win!
For the Brothers’ War PreRelease, players will also get their choice of 1 of 3 Magic 30th Anniversary promos (while supplies last): Wall of Roots, Wood Elves, or Windfall!
